Healthy fats and unhealthy fats

Here in the United States we are scared of fats. Fats make us gain weight and lead to things like heart disease and obesity. But we’re to tell you that some fats are okay to eat in moderation, in fact, they’re essential! Fish oils like omega-3and omega-6 along with the MCTs or medium chain triglycerides found in coconut oil can actually lower cholesterol and help us lose weight. Other sources of good fats are walnuts, almonds, pistachios, and pecans. These make for great snacks at those moments when you just can’t seem to get full.
